FACELAND GAME TESTING

Effective recognition and awareness of the feelings of others is an essential social skill.

We are seeking a few preschool, Head Start, Kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grade public or private school classrooms in the Seattle Washington area to pilot a new program on Recognition of Facial Expression of Emotion.

FACELAND offers 6 "Schools" and 11 engaging and playful games to improve recognition of the 6 basic facial expressions of emotion: surprise, fear, anger, disgust, sadness, and happiness.

• Students should be accustomed to computer use and able to use a mouse.
• Teacher or other adult should be willing to administer very brief and simple pre and post tests, provide anonymous results, and anecdotal feedback.
